Do You Drink Milk? 28 Things You Should Know.

A very important information about milk. If you can live without killing animals, why take their lives away?

This video is right on, when you drink milk you are contributing to the veal industry and the suffering of animals. Female cows have to be made pregnant in order to produce milk, since there is no need for male calves in the dairy industry, the male calves are kept in tiny, cramped crates where they can't even move and are butchered at a few weeks old. The female calves are turned into dairy cows or raised for the meat on your plate. Make conscious decisions, people!! Going vegetarian was the best decision I've ever made. Buying cheese also contributes to animal cruelty. The enzymes in cheese contain rennet which is a cows stomach.

True, people should stop consuming dairy products from shops and all. But those who love to drink milk, can buy the milk from the local milkman. So is in my case, we buy milk from the local vendor, who owns cows and buffaloes. That's his business...And i don't think in India, any such thing is even done by the dairy companies. Here in India cow is considered sacred...

Thanks for posting this, Xiao Kang. I have only just found it after posting a video on the same theme, but much longer and full of scientific proofs.  I think the one you posted is better for getting people committed to saving calves and "weaning themselves off milk"!

I am working on a project to subtitle vegan videos in other languages (French, Chinese..) Are you interested in the idea of helping on such a project? (I am maybe assuming you have Chinese expertise, if I am wrong I apologise. I have some knowledge of several European languages...)

Hi Krishna Saraswat

I too believed that in India, cows are considered sacred.

But recently I watched earthlings, and learned how leather is made. Indians treat the 'sacred cow' much worse to take them slaughter house. Leather is made from Indian cow's skin!
