Similarly, I feel badly because of reading about the fate of creatures that live in or visit the fields which get ploughed, and who suffer especially from the use of combine harvesters. So that I can eat grains! I hoped to find some grain farms where only scything was used, but this proved impossible. (I understand that it would be extremely labour intensive.) But I wish I could own a tiny piece of land where I could learn to do this myself.
Dear Meowzolite, could you also explain for me what exactly you mean by vegetables being grown as a result of wild animals being shot and trapped on site, who then become meat? Also, what you mean by animals being shot so that wheat and other grains can be grown? I would like to know more about these things please.
