This group is for the active, the athletic, and the meat-free! It is a common misconception that people who choose a cruelty-free diet cannot possibly get the required nutrition from eating "twigs and berries." However, Vegetarian and Vegan athletes often have a better, more balanced diet than our meat-eating counterparts.

Coming in at 2.27 on my first serious triathlon i now have it down to 2.12 as a PB and im hoping to win my first race in the next year with some luck !!

I am a avid runner and someone who loves to work out .. I can say that after making the switch to a vegan diet I have seen my energy levels increase and this making my workouts longer and I end up working harder!! When I was on a meat based diet I also felt lazy after a meal and never wanted to go for a run.. or go down to the gym to get in some weight training. However now that I am only consuming a plant based diet with no animal by products I feel energetic and ready to meet my workout goals! I am a strong advocate for being a vegan athlete

I really don't have a favorite exercise. At this point in my exercise regimen, I usually lift weights for an hour followed by an hour/1.5 hours of different cardio. And in between sets of lifting weights, I run a couple of laps.
